As part of preparations for the upcoming Diplomatic International Day, an official visit took place last Friday to the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, Ms. Kifaya Bint Khamis Al-Raisi, involving representatives of the Diplomatic Coalition, Fundación Eco de España en Árabe and HM Hospitales.
The exchange addressed the role of diplomacy in achieving the SDGs and the strategic involvement of Private Sector partners in promoting the 2030 Agenda and supporting SDG-oriented initiatives in the Arab world.
The Diplomatic International Day, second edition, will be held on 22 September at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Palacio de Santoña). Participants include several Ambassadors from the Middle East and North Africa, as well as speakers from UN agencies, the UN Global Compact, as well as heads of key Private Sector companies in Spain.
